Episode Description

A look at the up-and-down career of the actress who proved that winning an Oscar isn't necessarily the key to success. Tomei came out of nowhere to win the Oscar in 1993 for her hilarious performance in My Cousin Vinny, but her career took a tumble afterwards with a string of lackluster films. But she proved the Hollywood doubters wrong by getting back on track with independent movies like In the Bedroom and Before the Devil Knows You're Dead. Another star turn in The Wrestler cemented Tomei's return to stardom.
