As a child, Adolfo Constanzo was immersed into a cult by his mother. Straying far from his roots as an altar boy, he eventually built his own cult based on human sacrifice and drug trafficking. He killed with impunity until a spring break reveler from Texas became a victim. That murder brought a flood of law enforcement pressure, and as authorities closed in, he was killed at his own insistence by one of his followers. In addition to the bodies found on his property in Matamoros, Mexico, Constanzo's cult is suspected in many of the 74 unsolved ritual murders that plagued Mexico Ctiy from 1987-1989.
